Reverse with Post Office "Found Open or damaged and officially secured" tape and further strike of "SALVED FROM THE SEA" handstamp tied by Stevenage arrival (July 27). Contents with somewhat prophetic message: "If this reaches you safely, you will no doubt be surprised to hear from me...".
