This 'Columbia' journey lasted from April 2-15 between Boston and Liverpool. Note: The 'Columbia' was the first westbound winner of the Blue Riband for the Cunard line.

pli confié du Gal Uhrich, Corr. Havas par le Gal Cambronne, cachet
"Trouvé à la Courneuve", pli de Nixéville par le Montgolfier,
Tourville avec formule taxée 2 décimes, 5c Empire dent. obl.
"Affranchissement insuffisant", Godefroy Cavaignac pour l'Italie,
Vauban en pli confié pour la Belgique, Daguerre pour la Suisse
envoyé par erreur à Londres puis réexpédié en Alsace, etc., superbe
collection avec ces ballons spécifiques et une partie réexpédiée
peu courante. Ensemble très rarement proposé dans les ventes à un
prix attractif pour collectionneur amateur ou confirmé.
