Lithographed by Bradbury Wilkinson 1894: 1 a. blue-green, an unused
complete sheet of 60, printed on thick paper without watermark,
outer margins perforated through the selvedge. Fresh, vibrant
colour and of very fine overall appearance. Minor perf separation
in the upper margin centrally just touching the first row, slight
creasing to the selvedge at right corners and one or two faint tone
spots on the gum, of little significance. Large part original gum.
A scarce and visually impressive full sheet, rarely encountered in
such fresh condition. Gi = £ 570+

yellow-green pair, 2 a. pale violet pair and block of four with
single 3 a. brown-orange, used on 1903 regsitered cover to Bombay,
India all tied by "Berbera" cds's (Sept 5) in black and by framed
registration cachet. Carried from Aden on P&O steamer
"Peninsular" with oval registration cachet at left and reverse with
Bombay and Colaba (Sept 16) arrivals. A scarce and attractive
franking. Provenance: Harmers, London, 8 July 1999, lot 1330.
