1882 Qiaopi from Bangkok to Tenghai via “Red Bow”, frankless, with
address in ink-brush. “Red Bow” is Chinese junk which paid
protection fee to pirates. It is the only existing example. Qiaopi
from China were sent in bulk by that time and carried to Siam by
ship for further forwarding by local Qiaopiju.
1882年曼谷經“紅頭船”寄澄海，無貼票，寫有地址。“紅頭船”為潮汕商人之遠洋帆船。此為唯一存世例子。 當時中國的批信都集中打包，由輪船帶到泰國，再交本地批局代理分發。許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第57頁1-114原件。

1940至1960年代一組六件泰國僑批局預付銀信封，寫有匯款銀 碼，貼暹羅票，展示了國幣、港幣及人民幣之匯價變化。有趣。

1953 and 1955 a pair of remittance covers from Bangkok to Shanghai
and Swatow Former f.w. Rama IX 1.15 Baht, alongside with “Chin Sin”
Qiaopiju oval seal and Hong Kong forwarding Qiaopiju cachet. Latter
frankless, applied with “United Credit Co Ltd” oval seal and BOC
Swatow receipt seal. Rare example with Hong Kong Qiaopiju seal. In
early 1950s, Thai Government strictly controlled foreign exchange
market which significantly impacted the Qiaopi industry. In 1953,
Qiaopiju in Siam merged into three limited companies. Chin Sin is
one of the three. These three companies further merged into “United
Credit Co. Ltd” .
1953及1955年一對曼谷寄汕頭及上海之僑批。前者貼拉瑪九世1.15泰銖，旁鈐“臣信”橢圓形戳、香港“陳四興批局” 橢圓戳。後者無貼票，鈐“信聯有限公司”橢圓形戳記及汕頭中國銀行圓戳。帶有香港批局中轉戳者甚罕。 1950年代初，泰國政府嚴格控制外匯，大大影響僑批局生意。1953年，泰國僑批局實行聯營，分為三家集團公司 注冊，臣信為其中一家。後來三家公司再聯合成立“信聯有限公司”。

Siam postage paid cachet. Remittance mails from Siam were usually
sent in bulk. But since 1927, postmark had to be applied after
checked by post office staff. A good pair for comparison.

1934 Bangkok to Meihsien. Siam 15 stg stationery cover, tied by
Bangkok cds. In combination with ROC postage due 5c in block of 10
on reverse, tied by Kwangtung Meihsien cds (17 Mar) upon arrival.
This cover was found enclosing one extra mail when checked by
Meihsien Post Office. Double international postage due 50c was
therfore imposed. Only a few incoming Qiaopi with postage due
franking to China exist. 15 stg stationery cover was issued in 1929
for Qiaopi correspondence in bulk with China.
1934年曼谷寄梅縣。暹羅15士丁郵資封，銷曼谷日戳。背面加貼民國欠資票5分十方連， 銷廣東梅縣3.17到達戳。此封於梅縣郵局檢查時被發現內夾多封批信，因而罰雙倍郵資5角。 貼用欠資票之進口僑批存世僅有數件。暹羅郵政局於1929年發行15士丁郵資封供批局總包使用。 許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第76頁1-160原件。

1953及1955年一對曼谷寄汕頭及上海之僑批。前者貼拉瑪九世1.15泰銖，旁鈐“臣信”橢圓形戳、香港“陳四興批局” 橢圓戳。後者無貼票，鈐“信聯有限公司”橢圓形戳記及汕頭中國銀行圓戳。帶有香港批局中轉戳者甚罕。 1950年代初，泰國政府嚴格控制外匯，大大影響僑批局生意。1953年，泰國僑批局實行聯營，分為三家集團公司 注冊，臣信為其中一家。後來三家公司再聯合成立“信聯有限公司”。

Showing scarce “Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Section for Oversea Chinese” circular seal and Qiaopiju”Collector of Money must show the previous Qiaopi for verification” cachet. The Japanes occupation governmeent set up “Section for Oversea Chinese” to manage Qiaopi. Incoming Qiaopi must be censored by this authority. Duplicate is especially rare.
