Perforation Experiments Exhibit Collection (Scott 200//201B),
an impressive collection of these fascinating issues, incorporating
several of the world's rarest stamps, all on exhibit pages, though
not all are mounted. The 1907 zigzag roulette 10 begins the
awe-inspiring collection, including mint examples of both the 1ab
and 2ab values, with the 1ab being one of just two known examples
and ex-Dietrich. Additionally, two of the three known examples of
the 2ab value are displayed. The Scott value of just these three
stamps is $7,750, quite conservative considering their rarity. The
1908 serrate roulettes feature the only two known examples of the
2ab Blue (#201B, both ex-Perkal), catalogued at $7,000. The used
section features eight examples by shade of the 1ab zigzag (#200,
cat. value $3,200), plus two examples of the 2ab value (#201B,
unpriced). Other items of interest include a 1936 forgery with
accompanying "certificate" sent by dealer Zahid to Col. Lawrence
Smith, the original owner of the 1ab zigzag, stating that "it is
genuine". Also includes additional used examples of the 1ab zigzag,
