(2) and 20c. (2) cancelled by the double-circle "battag. italiano in cina/tientsin" datestamp with the arrival postmark (12.6) below. The notation on the reverse of this envelope indicates it was sent care of the ministry of Navy in Rome and forwarded without surcharge (Estimate 1200 US$ - 1500 US$)

(3) tied by double-circle "battag. italiano in cina/tientsin" datestamp with handstamp of Arms over "battaglione italiano/in cina" and "raccomandata" in purple, a pink registration label was applied in error (for Official correspondence), crossed through and the correct white label applied on top; the reverse bears five strikes of the headquarters handstamp.
