Large Camel Postal Stationery 1907–1917: Attractive group of eight examples comprising: 1917 3 m. reddish purple card unused (H&G 11, scarce survivor); 1914 4 m.+4 m. red reply card unused with reply attached, plus two message parts only-printing of just 2,225, no used examples recorded (H&G 15); 1910 4 m.+4 m. light-brown reply card unused, very fine and rare (H&G 16); and 1907 2 m. surcharge on 3 m. violet-brown card overprinted SOUDAN, one fine used uprated to Finland with Khartoum 1909 cds. and arrival backstamp, plus another used to Alexandria (slight discolouration) and two unused examples (H&G 6). A scarce and appealing group of Large Camel stationery, seldom offered together (8).

Egypt Stationery 1907: 2 m. black surcharge on 3 m. violet-brown
postal card, overprinted in black with "SOUDAN" in Arabic and
French, uprated with Large Camel 1902 2 m. green & brown, used from
Khartoum to Helsinki, Finland, dated 3 April 1909, cancelled by
circular datestamp in black with Helsinki arrival alongside dated
17 April 1909 also in black. A fine and scarce used example
(H&G 6). Comes with another card used without the additional
stamp sent to Alexandria (affected by slight climatic
discolouration). Also two unused examples of the same. A scarce
group (4)
