1784/1881: Collection on leaves with entire letter/covers/documents (18) incl. 1784 "Oath of Allegiance" printed form filled in manuscript at Cavan County Court with a family from Cork taking the oath; 1794 entire from Curraghmore to London with WATERFORD straight line in black, Broadsheet issued in 1796 published during the period the French Napoleonic forces occupied Bantry Bay; 1811 cover with "CORK/124" mileage mark in red, 1814 two entires to London each showing fair strikes of the Dublin "Mermaid" handstamp; 1834 cover with fine framed "PAID AT / DERRY" in red to Dublin; 1838 Valentine entire letter struck with "ST. STEPHEN'S GREEEN WEST / PENNY POST" in black (charming beseeching love letter), 1844 1 d. pink cover with superb "331" and MOATE cds both struck in blue; 1846 cover with framed "PAID AT / GORT" in blue, 1850 cover from Cork with "PASSAGE WEST" in blue, 1855/57 covers each with 1 d. star tied DUBLIN duplexes (different codes), 1855 cover with 2 d. blue similarly tied, 1870 registered cover with 1 d. red and 1865/67 4 d. vermilion pl. 13 ex Dublin etc. An interesting lot.
