1803 (March.10): Early entire letter from Andorra written by Josep Fornells addressed to Francisco Satorras in Calaf (Province of Barçelona). Text written in Catalan with interesting content: "After greeting your representative, I carried out the task you entrusted me with, which was to collect the payment letters, and he replied that the remaining amount was 884 reales and 20 diners, which he would not deliver to me, but rather collect in Puigcerdà." Fine and very early example of the merchant's postal service carried in bags by TRAGINERS and their mules or horses, to compete with the official mail for the lowest price. A rare entire.
