The block with large even margins all round, tiny marginal tear at right between the third and fourth rows, minor ironed wrinkles not affecting the stunning appearance of such a large multiple - originally the second largest recorded, although this describer believes the larger multiple may now been split and thus this is probably the largest now extant. Rare. Note: Upon Brian Moorhouse's return from the ABN archives sale in New York in 1990, the complete sheets were sold to Martyn Cusworth. The sheets, due to their size were extensively damaged and were eventually cut up (in 2018) to protect the remaining proofs. The ABN imprint was applied once on all four sides of the sheet, these being the finest known of the three sets available to collectors.
