Morocco, 1970 “Sportimex” World Cup team autographed souvenir card, numbered 029, issued for the Exposición Filatélica Deportiva in Mexico City, June 1970, under the joint auspices of FIFA and the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie, official double-panel card bearing the exhibition label “Exposición Filatélica Deportiva $2” cancelled “INAUGURACIÓN EXPOSICIÓN FILATÉLICA 19 VI 1970,” with a matching reverse pair of Mexico’s 1970 World Cup stamps cancelled “CAMPEONATO MUNDIAL DE FÚTBOL 21 VI 1970,” the reverse with contemporary green- and blue-ink signatures of Morocco’s national squad, including a clear green signature of Bamous, with others consistent with Faras and Ghazouani, a rare African team issue from Mexico 1970.
