1784 (Oct 30): Entire letter from Dublin to Timoney, Roscrea, Tipperary sent under free concession and endorsed "Free: C. Heath 30 Oct." at lower left, Bishop Mark "OC / 30" despatch on reverse and obverse with circular "FREE / D" deleted with manuscript "Supposed Counterfeit" above and Inspector's marking "GR / ♚" in red adjacent. Charge raised of "1/4d." due to pay in manuscript. The Inspector's doubts were confirmed upon opening the letter which was from a Mr. William Conway, and the Official wrote "This frank is genuine except the date" alongside the sender's signature. A rare and most unusual entire.

Clare containing a receipt for one year's rent, struck with Dublin handstruck "4" of the Uniform Fourpenny Post in black. Reverse with Dublin (Jan 4) despatch in red, on arrival the cover was readdressed to Six Mile Bridge, Co. Clare with the "4" deleted and replaced by "8" pence charge in manuscript. A most unusual cover Gi = £ 500+.
