Italy & Colonies 19th–20th Century: Substantial accumulation contained within a large box, with four albums, a stockbook, various cover albums and a quantity of loose album leaves/pages. Including 1946/52 collection of c.120 airmail covers to South America during the Democratica issue (16 with 100 l. carmine combinations); 1935/36 group of c. 50 covers/cards from Italian Colonies in Africa with fiscals on documents; and 1917/43 collection of over 260 covers/cards, mainly military mail with censor marks and propaganda cards. Also 19th century revenues on documents, RSI issues incl. “Monumenti Distrutti” and “Fratelli Bandiera”, post-war Republic multiples and varieties, plus Vatican incl. Anno Santo 1950 folder. A wide-ranging lot with much for study.
