1907/16: Sinn Fein (-) propaganda label, an unused example in blue & black, perf. 11, marginal at right, slightly soiled large part og. (Feldman L7a); and a small document headed "Sinn Fein Postage Stamp / Irish Rebellion 1916" in manuscript bearing a horizontal pair of the "Manchester Martyrs" stamp with Irish tricolour and black vignette showing Larkin, Allen and O'Brien (Feldman L16); faults but seldom seen and an interesting page. Note: The Tricolour stamps were actually printed in gummed pairs to be stuck 'back to back' and then pinned to a lapel to advertise the wearer's support.

Easter Rising 1916: Printed form in black on folded cream paper (305 x 208 mm.) stating "IRISH CITIZEN ARMY / HEADQUARTERS: LIBERTY HALL, DUBLIN / COMMANDANT: JAMES CONNOLLY" FOR APPOINTMENTS TO THE Army Council. Unused but nevertheless a rare document.

Easter Rising 1916: Travel Pass (204 x 104 mm.) issued by the Assistant Provost Marshall based in the Lower Castle Yard in Dublin; with stencilled titles in violet and completed in ink "PLEASE PASS MR. "Mrs. Seagrave", BETWEEN "Kingstown & Dublin P & K Only", countersigned by a Major in the British Army and handstamped with oval violet "ASSISTANT PROVOST GENERAL / DUBLIN" cachet dated "11 May 1916" - issued when security would have been at its strictest - the day before many of the revolutionaries, including James Connolly, were executed. Creased and probably issued to a cleaner or secretary in the Lower Castle Yard. A rare and extraordinary document

Easter Rising 1916: Munitions Requisition Form No. 4 (175 x 105 mm.) printed in black headed PLUGGED B.S. Co. (Bethlehem Steel Co.) dated "JUN 19 1916" at top and centrally, with printed reference to cartridges and shells, with violet handstamp "AMATOL" being the explosive required (a mixture of TNT (Toluene) and Ammonium nitrate). This form, found together with the previous two lots, was used in Ireland during the uprising.
