1893: Cover from Great Britain underpaid (at triple rate) with single 1 d. lilac used from Aberfeldy (Nov 2), addressed to a member of the 17th Lancers in Cairo. Taxed on despatch with framed 'T' and 65 centimes in manuscript, twice taxed in Cairo with 1888 Postage Due 2 m. green, 4 m. maroon, 1 pi. ultramaine and pair of 2 pi. orange (voided with 'T' marking). Re-addressed to Halfa and reverse with Postage Due 2 m. green, 4 m. maroon and 1 pi. ultramarine (5) all tied by WADI HALFA datestamps (Nov 24). Some faults due to journey, but a marvellous cover bearing the complete set of 1888 Postage Dues
