in ...more 1916, Ruanda Urundi, picture postcard written by a Belgian soldier in Tabora Oct. 7, 1916 and sent in SM (=postage free), tied by the MUANZA cachet "without date" (extremely scarce), sent to London / Great Britain, via Mombasa Nov. 5, 1916, with handwritten censor note "Pr la censure militaire Le Ct de Groupt. aile droite" and 2nd handwritten note in blue pen "Troupes Belges de l'Est africain" + sign (D. Thomas) under the censor note, sender texte : "Suis à Tabora. armée belge s'est emparée de la ville il y a qq jours. Tout est pour le mieux. Lettre suit - Louis" (= I'm in Tabora. The Belgian army took over the town a few days ago. All is for the best. Follows letter - Louis), amazing item, a piece of history and very clean, very scarce
