Posted OCT 1, it arrived in Des Moines the following day, October 2. A straight line green ‘RAILROAD DAMAGE’ h/s has been applied as an explanation as to the damage. frame at center and date in manuscript, matching "10" in circle
handstamp on buff cover to Monroe Conn., Very Fine strike of this
scarce marking, the Hartland post office was the source of a few
creative postal marking designs, this would be an excellent
companion to the illustrated stampless marking offered in our 2024
