HBA 67th Auction
Our 67th international stamp and coin auction will feature yet another German colonies postal history collection in museum quality and therefore continue a tradition established 20 years ago with the auction of the unique Windhoek-based Hans Joachim Berker German South West Africa collection.
This year's spring auction's highlight is the Amani collection, an object divided into more than 1,200 lots and including rarities and unique items from German foreign post offices China, Morocco and Turkey as well as African colonies and South Seas territories. Sold by a renowned German musician-philatelist who is an adept traveler of Namibia, the collection contains many covers and pieces bearing crisp cancellation marks.
Short Terms and Conditions
The auctioneer receives from the buyer a commission of 20% of the hammer price for each lot purchased, additional the cost of postage and handling in the case of dispatch (at prime cost), an insurance fee of 1.25‰ of the invoice amount. Also, Value Added Tax (currently 7%) on the hammer price, commission and costs will be invoiced separately. This does not apply to foreign customers when the goods are dispatched by HBA to foreign countries (exception: customers living in the European Community).
