New Brunswick, 1851/1860, mint, used, and plate proof ...更多
New Brunswick, 1851/1860, mint, used, and plate proof selection,
neatly arranged on two stock pages, including a used 1851 1d red
Heraldic Flowers with four margins, a used on-piece pair and
bisected half of the 1d red, together with a used on-piece 1851 6d
olive-yellow and an additional 1d red bisect, complemented by a
pair of 1851 6d black Heraldic Flowers plate proofs and an 1860 5¢
brown Charles Connell plate proof, as well as a particularly
attractive unused 1851 3d Heraldic Flowers showing rich, vibrant
colour; the 1860 cents issue is represented by both unused and
numerous used examples, notably a 2¢ orange Queen Victoria block of
four struck with a bold, nearly centred cancellation, overall fine
or better and an appealing early New Brunswick holding.
