1926/70, Collection in album starting Turkey cancellations of
Hodeida, first issues with 40 used stamps, few on piece, mainly
good cancellations showing different types and cities, margin
stamps, later issues mainly unused with complete sets, perforation
varieties, many imperf issues, souvenir sheets, overprints ‘God,
Imam & Country’ on stamps and S/S, air mails and Olympics, mostly
very fine

horizontally laid paper, a used example somewhat roughly separated,
tied to large piece of cover by two strikes of circular "JIHÂT
DHAMAR" handstamps in black. Rare thus.

horizontally laid paper, large margins all round, used on small
piece cancelled by two strikes of circular "MENAKHA" handstamps in
violet. Rare thus.

horizontally laid paper, a used horizontal strip of five with large
margins all round (positions 11-15) on piece, cancelled by three
strikes of circular "SANA'A" negative seal handstamps (Type 1) in
black. Minor imperfections but rare. Provenance: Collection Harry
Hibbert, Harmers, London, 10-11 March 1987, lot 984.

large margins all round (positions 8-10 / 13-15), tied to piece by
four strikes of "SANA'A" negative seal handstamps (Type 2) in
black. A rare used multiple Gi = £ 540+.
