The morning session starts with the Ronnie Winchester Collection of the Australian State of Victoria registered mail, 1847-76 and the rest of the morning is taken up by countries A-G including fine sections of Belgium, Cape of Good Hope rectangular issues with some magnificent items which disappeared from the market years ago, fantastic Griqualand West with fabulous mint blocks, covers, etc. The afternoon session includes fine Palestine, Rhodesia, Russia and the sale concludes with the ever popular section of collections and ranges.
Court conditions générales
In addition to the Hammer Price, the Buyer must pay the Buyer's premium at a rate of 20% of the final Hammer Price.
For Lots marked with (o) no VAT is charged.
For Lots marked with(?), (†) or (Ω) VAT is chargeable on the Hammer price and the Buyer's premium at the standard rate (currently 20%).
For Lots marked with (x) VAT is chargeable on the Hammer price at the reduced rate (currently 5%) and on the Buyer's Premium at standard rate (currently 20%).
VAT on Margin scheme lots (identified by the absence of any VAT symbol next to the lot number) is payable at 20% on the Buyer’s premium only.
