Hodam 44th Auction
With almost 5,000 lots, we have once again composed a diverse and interesting offer for our 44th auction on May 4th, 2024.
The start of this auction, which will again take place as a classic hall auction, is made up of around 440 lots in the Europe/Overseas area.
You can also expect many selected, beautiful lots from Old German States up to the German Empire and areas including many private postal stationeries.
Postal stationery from local editions with rare items follows. You can also find rarities from the soviet occupation zone in the addendum, many of which have been professionally checked or come with a certificate.
The part Soviet zone includes many covers and peculiarities. Saxon blackenings and district hand stamps are worth mentioning.
GDR documents from the beginning with private postal stationeries and many rare additional print cards from the early issues follow.
This is followed by almost 400 interesting lots with stamps and covers from Berlin and the federal government from the early issues. Many used postal stationeries from Berlin with rarities from the start are waiting to be discovered.
An extensive inventory of new accessories, literature and other collectibles in around 150 lots attracts with very reasonable starting prices,
Around 700 collections and lots with many untouched estates from chocolate boxes to moving boxes round off this auction, all with very favorable prices, as always.
Short Terms and Conditions
The purchaser shall pay the hammer price plus 20 % commission, 1 Euro per lot auctioneer´s fee and the current in Germany valuable Value Added Tax of 19% (V.A.T.) will be added to the commission and Charges. Postage charges are added if applicable.
