Dear collectors,
our upcoming 2-day long September Public Auction 63 will be held on Saturday and Sunday, SEPTEMBER 5-6, 2020 in our auction house in Prague. The auction comprises almost 3.500 (!) rare and important lots, mainly stamps and postal history items, including singles, sets, collections and also some large bulk lots and accumulations.
The auction consists of the comprehensive selection of Europe with superb classic Austria, interesting Great Britain, fabulous Commonwealth and British Empire with wide range of complete sets, high values and specialities.
The sale also includes extensive selection of Czechoslovakia 1918-1939, 1945-1992 or Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia with many scarce lots.
We are also very pleased to present an extraordinary Georg Wilhelms Exhibit of Czechoslovakia 1943-1983. The exhibit has been developed and improved by Georg Wilhelms over 40 years to reach its present high international level. He put emphasis primarily on quality and rarity; hence few ordinary items are also included. Many of the items offered are unique, or exist in only few examples, and have not been on the market for many years. Mr. Georg Wilhelms has attended with his Czechoslovakia 1943-1983 collection several international philatelic exhibitions with reward of Gold Medal in JIHLAVA 2013 and HALDENSLEBEN 2014.
For auction house Burda Auction, it is a great honor have for the second time the opportunity to offer you one of the extraordinary collections of Mr. Georg Wilhelms. We believe that our work will contribute to its importance for Czechoslovak philately.
The Georg Wilhelms collection will be auctioned on Sunday, September 6, starts at 09.00 CEST.
