Never before has a holding of this size and magnitude been brought together in one offering as this. Twenty-six major towns or postal districts are known to have used these handstamps, and nearly all are represented here, often times with the finest known examples. On all lots sold, a commission of 20% on the hammer price is payable by the buyer to the auctioneer together with any sales and use tax or customs duties.
However there will be a 2% discount for those buyers whose payments reach us within 15 says of the sale.
