633rd Van Dieten Auction
In this auction you will find an interesting offer of many intact collections and accumulations. Amongst others wonderful, valuable collections of the Netherlands and Overseas Territories, Belgium, France, Germany and all Territories, Luxemburg and so on.
We like to ask your special attention for one of the best collections of Great Britain we ever had. The collection features many rare stamps, especially of the Victorian and Edwardian periods, including a lot of much sought-after Official Stamps. The specialized collection is split-up into some 70 single lots and the balance.
Have you ever seen from the Soviet Union 1932 Michel Nos. 422/23 imperforated in a block, of which no more than 500 copies were issued? The catalogue value is EUR 25,000. We are pleased to receive your orders for this showpiece in due course!
The session Netherlands and Overseas Territories starts as usual with a wide range of the beautiful First Issue, and further many rare and sought-after single stamps and series.
As always our postal history session is very extensive and deserves your special attention. Every lover of covers and cancellations will find the wide and varied offer mouthwatering. A general characteristic is the fine quality of all items. Unique is a 1955 cover from Dutch New Guinea bearing two feathers of the casuaris bird, transported by local runners to the Head of the local Administration. Furthermore you will find a fine offer of all kinds of postmarks on covers, many from the Netherlands East Indies, ship mail from the East and West Indies, and air mail including scarce Zeppelin covers from rare origins.
