FRAZAO AUCTIONS is an auction company specializing in philately and was founded in Lisbon in 2023 by Luis Frazao (RDP, FRPSL, AEP) and his son, Marco Frazao.
In 2023 it will hold half-yearly auctions with all types of philatelic material: stamps, letters, postmarks, illustrated postcards, philatelic literature, collections and albums. Specializing in philately from Portugal & Colonies, it also has a strong focus on philately from other countries to meet the preferences of its Portuguese and international clients.
It offers its customers other services such as evaluations and helps in the process of certifying philatelic items.

Our #4 auction will be, as our previous auctions also, specialized in Portugal & Colonies philatelic material. Geographically ranging from mainland Portugal, western Africa (Angola, Por. Guinea, Cape Verde, S. Thomas & Prince) and Eastern Africa (Mozambique and various postal districts), to India, Timor and Macao in Asia. Also included are airmail, postal stationery, postage dues, fiscal stamps, Cinderellas, postcards, reprints etc, having also a strong presence of literature and large lots and collections.

A commission will be levied on the auction price in favor of the Auctioneer, corresponding to 15.00% of that value, and on this the legal rate of 23% VAT, which totals the auction value plus 18.45%.
