Just-Prephilately

The auctioneer receives a premium of 23% of the hammer price from the buyer. The premium includes the statutory VAT of 19% (differential taxation according to § 25a UStG, there is no separate sales tax statement). A fee of €2.00 is charged per auction lot. For written bidds, shipping costs will be charged separately. The statutory VAT of 19% is only calculated on the lot fee and shipping costs. Buyers from non-EU countries pay a premium of 20% of the hammer price. Purchases exported to a third country subject to VAT (outside the EU) are exempt from VAT.
