Last Santiago Printing 1866: 5 c. rose-red (shades), the Exhibit
collection on leaves with watermarked Proofs in a marginal
inscription block of four and a block of ten (5 x 2); 5 c. rose-red
unused with marginal single and a block of four; used examples with
all four watermark orientations, pre-printing paper fold varieties
used (4), 5 c. cancellation study with FRANCA in blue on a single
example and in black on a strip of three, framed "INUTIL / CHILE"
on single and strip of four, unrecorded mute cancellations on a
pair and block of four; fiscally used example of the "Sangre de
Toro" shade, fine selection of covers with pair on 1866 cover to
Lima, two singles on cover to Santiago, strip of three used in
April 1867 from Serena; four singles on 1866 cover from Santiago
etc. An outstanding group (39 items).
