$1 franking air mail stamps (sent surface); 1942 three similar
registered (1) and censored bearing $7.90 (2) and $8.90 frankings
which seems to overpay the rate via Calcutta; 1943 envelope to
London bearing $22.60 franking; 1949 Air Letter to San Francisco
bearing $40 franking tied by Shanghai c.d.s.; also 1948 air mail
envelope sent double registered from Patpo to Shanghai bearing

sent air mail to England bearing, mostly on reverse, 1949-50 $1500
on $100 dull brown, $500 on $100 carmine (15) and $2000 on $200
light blue (4) cancelled by Chungking Chinese/English c.d.s. with
Canton (11.4) transit; manuscript endorsement indicates that it
arrived in London on 25 April; some edge wear. Pays $17,000 rate.
