exceptional destination and a great rarity for the Chile airmail

combination with Chile 1894, postage due surcharged “Valparaiso 6c.
Multada” in black on yellow, unwmk., perf. 13, both of good colour
and perforations mostly fine, the former tied by squared circle
“CARDIFF BARRY DOCKS BO SP 30 94” and the latter a cds “VALPARAISO
CHILE 21 XI 94”, to an envelope sent from Cardiff, Wales to
Valparaiso, Chile, with “T” handstamp in black and manuscript “15”.
Reverse, an arrival “VALPARAISO CHILE 21 XI 94”. The 1 penny has
corner clipped top left, small part of envelope at top left
missing, which has been repaired with part of reverse. Fine. Scarce
combination.
