1862/64: Great Britain 1 s. green, pl. 1 = pl. 2, lettered NF (Gi. 90) used on printed "TELEGRAM / per Alexandria, Cairo & Suez Telegraph" envelope to Bombay, tied by "BO2" obliterator of Suez in black with SUEZ cds below (Dec 28) in blue. The cover with full original Telegraphic contents "Forty three Bank rate seven Cotton quiet Prices farthing lower fair cholera unchanged". Slight opening tear on flap but scarce and fine.

1891 N° 26, 27, 32, 46, TG 1 and TG 3, on letter, the first 4 stamps cancelled on 24 March 1891 with postmark (T0 - Anvers), and the telegraph stamps on 25 March 1891 (cancelled with telegraph postmark - Anvers(Bourse), to New York (USA), no trace of receipt marks, this combination of stamps is very unusual, vf (TG 1 on letter has OBP of 210 euros)

1891 N° 26, 27, 32, 46, TG 1 en TG 3, op brief, waarvan de eerste 4 zegels zijn afgestempeld op 24 mars 1891 met poststempel (T0 - Anvers), en de telegraafzegels op 25 mars 1891 (afgestempeld met telegraafstempel - Anvers(Bourse), naar New York (USA), ontbreekt elk spoor van ontvangststempels, deze combinatie van zegels is zeer uitzonderlijk, zm (TG 1 op brief heeft OBP van 210 euro)

1877: Telegraph 6 pence grey, plate 1, lettered PD, Spray wmk. sideways, perf. 14, good colour and perforations mostly fine, tied by duplex “HASTINGS JY 24 79” to an envelope sent to Chakrata, India, endorsed “Via Brindisi”. Reverse, transit cds “ORE JY 24 79”, “SEA POST OFFICE AUG 1” and arrival “CHAKRATA 17 AUG”. Minor wrinkling to envelope slightly affecting adhesive and a couple of short perforations at top. Fine and scarce transitional 6 pence India & Far East rate; the use of a Telegraph stamp as postage is uncommon. Note: UK granted a special concession transitional rate of 6d for such mail directed via Brindisi from 1 April 1879 to 31 January 1880. #### ERROR #### Unterschiedliche Eintr ge in den beiden Sprachversionen der Provinienz

circular negative 'star in circle' handstamps in blue with
"REPUBLIQUE DE HONDURAS / BUREAU POSTAL D'ÉXCHANGE / PUERTO CORTEZ"
datestamp at left (Aug 15). "BELIZE" code C arrival cds above (Aug
19). The cover would have been used by the "Telegrafo del Gobierno
de Honduras" to send a written copy of a transmitted telegram.
Extremely rare - the sole example known and one of just two Morazan
issue covers recorded to British Honduras. Cert. Holcombe (1990).
