JAPANESE OCCUPATION OF PERAK. 1942 censored cover from Hutan
Melintang to Syonan-To with a Selangor 8c overprint cancelled PERAK
/ TELUK ANSON / YUBIN KYOKU 22. 5. 2602, the month and day written
in by hand. Brown resealing tape is at the right of the cover and
this has been tied on both front and back by boxed censor chops.
The cover was sent to a Danish National at the East Asiatic Co. A
little roughly opened at the top but a scarce usage of Selangor
stamps in Perak

the back, a Negri Sembilan 15c (SG J169) and a Pahang 8c (SG J241)
tied by a PERAK / IPOH / YEBIN KYOKU 15.6.2602 datestamp. An Ipoh
registration label is on the front of the cover along with an oval
Japanese h/s. An interesting combination usage of Negri Sembilan
and Pahang stamps on a commercial locally used cover
