issue including a pair of 1 Bani violet with red heraldic eagle
overprint, 5 Bani green and 10 Bani orange with black eagle
overprints, alongside unoverprinted Romanian definitives including
two 15 Bani brown, one 25 Bani blue and one 5 Bani green, all tied
by double-circle postmarks CZERNOWITZ 26 MAR 1920, yellow
registration label CZERNOWITZ I Nr. 1081, violet military
censorship strike with manuscript initials, rare combination of
both provisional and standard issues, highly unusual mix of red and
black eagle overprints typically linked to early Romanian
administrative control in Bukovina, sent to Professor Dr. Arnold
Pöschl in Graz, excellent and uncommon transitional item from
