1970 NANGA PARBAT / Günther & Reinhold Messner: two picture postcard from the German RUPAL-Expedition to Nanga Parbat(Sigi-Löw-Gedächtnis-Expedition) signed by the members of the expedition including Günther Messner (died at this expedition during the decend through the Rupal wall), the famous Reinhold Messner, Dr. Karl M. Herrligkoffer (leader) and others, both franked by Pakistan 50p. and sent to Aachen, Germany. (Günther Messner's signature can only be found on one of the two cards; he had probably already died in an accident on the later second card.)
