1865–1960 Revenue Stamps – Attractive and Varied Accumulation: An
appealing and diverse accumulation of predominantly used revenue
stamps, offered both in singles and multiples, together with a
modest selection of unused examples, including some bearing
overprinted Specimen. The collection shows notable strength in the
Embossed Stamp Duty issues, along with a broad representation of
Queen Victoria, Edward VII, and George V material. Also included is
a valuable group of Great Britain revenues with various Irish
overprints, such as Saorstát Éireann, Saorstát Éireann 1922, and
Rialtas Sealadach na hÉireann, which add significant philatelic and
historical interest. Complementing the adhesives is a fine array of
documents bearing fiscal usages, providing important context and
depth for study. A well-rounded and varied assembly, offering
excellent scope for the collector of Irish or British revenues, or
those interested in fiscal history more generally. Condition ranges
from mixed to fine, with much that is presentable and desirable.
