Envelope with defects on front and back but still an attractive example of rare registered mail

1852/57: 3 d. brown-red on wove paper, vertical pair with good to
large margins including ca. 3-5 mm sheet margin at foot, tied by
7-ring target to folded cover from Montreal (19 Dec) to Kingston,
with double split-ring arrival backstamp (21 Dec), a scarce and
very fine franking. Certificate BPA (2020).

and ...más Wolfgang von Gronau Flight Germany - USA 1930 (Aug. 26): Envelope and 2c. stationery, both used on the leg from Halifax, with one addressed to Toledo, Ohio backstamped "Montreal AU 27" on reverse together with 'Roessler' stationery to "New York /AUG 26". Capt. Von Gronau had no authority to carry mail originated from Canada, the letters were afterwards returned through courtesy by plane to Montreal and sent from there by regular mail to their destinations. The cover also bears a private handstamp with Hale’s signature on reverse

Kerr, Maj. Herbert J.G. Brackley and Maj. Trygve Gran 1919 (June
19): Headed business envelope 'T.J. Duley & Co St. Johns - NFLD',
endorsed "Trans-Atlantic Air Post / per 'Handley Page' Machine",
franked with $1 Trans-Atlantic surcharged 15c. with “No comma"
variety after Post, cancelled by St. Johns machine cancel and
"Harbour Grace Ju 14 19" cds. alongside to Birmingham, England.
Envelope with vertical fold away from stamp and little browned on
reverse, otherwise fine and scarce, signed Kessler. After repairs,
they continued on to New York, connecting with the dirigible R34
that had already arrived there on July 6th for furtherance to
England. As they missed the R34 that took off on July 9th in the
night, the mail arrived on July 10th went via Cunarder “Mauretania”
which was docked in New York Harbour. Mail addressed to England out
of London was not backstamped on arrival
