1845/1980: Holding as received from an estate, comprising mostly European countries in 32 albums (predominantly stock books). Each country beginning with first or early issues, containing classic stamps, mostly used and in very mixed condition, continuing up to the 1980s ca.. Considerable duplication throughout, but interspersed with better values and sets, including France with the unmounted ‘Renoir’ and ‘Valéry’ sets. A substantial number of covers and cards also present. Other represented countries include Austria, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Italy and Spain, with smaller sections of Germany (Berlin, DDR and Saar), Romania (well worth inspection), and Switzerland; from overseas only Canada and United Nations.
