1943: FEZZAN FRENCH OCCUPATION 2 line h/s ovpt. 1 Fr. on Lybia parcel post with 'LIBIA' surcharge: 5c. brown se-tenant pair of 1st and 2nd halves unused with slightly disturbed original gum and irregular perforation; 10 c. blue 1st half of se-tenant pair, used; 50c. orange 1st half of se-tenant pair unused with slightly disturbed original gum; 1 lire violet se-tenant pair of 1st & 2nd halves unused with slightly disturbed original gum and trimmed at right. Rare group as only 90 pairs (180 halves) printed of which vast majority were used. Four certs. Ceremuga (2020), two certs. Scheller (2024), two adhesives signed Scheller Sassone = € 11.000. Provenance: All previously affixed to document '17 JUL 1943' giving numbers printed of this issue, with pencil approval of General Delange.
