An attractive and well-presented assembly of 48 airmail covers and cards, comprising approximately 18 First Flights Belfast–Liverpool, 5 Galway–London, 26 Galway–Berlin, and 2 scarce 1932 War Loan Special Flights London–Baldonnell. The collection also includes an excellent piece of ephemera – a 1929 poster advertising the Galway–London flight. A fine and varied group illustrating the development of early Irish airmail services and their international connections. A desirable lot for the Irish or First Flight specialist. (48 items)
