Siberia", faint but legible framed Cyrillic Baiantumin Han registry
handstamp, additional despatch datestamp on front, used with China,
1915, 20c and 30c Blue, Postage Due (J57-J58), 30c horizontal pair
with selvage at right, tied by Manchouli (May 4) circular
datestamps, cover censored at left with brown tape and violet
handstamp applied, Manchouli (May 4) arrival backstamp, slightly
rough top right corner, still Fine, the use of the Cyrillic
registry handstamp is extraordinarily rare, this is the only date
recorded by Hellrigl and presumed to be the only recorded use of
this postal marking

經中國寄往滿洲的俄國回信明信片，戰時郵政與審查罕見實寄品俄國 4 戈比回信明信片（Carte Postale
Réponse）之回信半部，於 1916 年 1 月 28 日 自 薩摩亞 Apia 寄出，並加貼
新西蘭半便士綠色郵票加蓋「SAMOA」（當時由新西蘭軍政接管薩摩亞）。地址為寄往 滿洲的戰地審查官（War Censor,
R.P.O. Station Manchuria）。 郵路沿途蓋有：(1) 上海 / 11 MAR 16 中轉戳；(2)
牛莊（Newchwang）/ 19 MAR 16 抵達戳；(3) 黑色方框「PASSED BY
CENSOR」審查戳記，應由中國或滿洲審查單位蓋用。 明信片背面落款 1916 年 1 月 17 日
Apia，並附有發信人紫色橢圓章「EMIL KLEHN / APIA – SAMOA」，回應一封 1915 年 11 月 25
日來信內容。 另背面有兩枚 SYDNEY / MY 6 / 1916
郵戳，應為卡片經戰時郵路或返回途中再次經過澳洲所蓋，顯示此卡極可能於審查後或因未能投遞而原封返回。
本品為第一次世界大戰期間郵政互動的罕少例證，融合俄羅斯、中國、薩摩亞、新西蘭與澳洲五地郵政體系，展現罕見的實寄與戰時審查歷程，具極高展覽與研究價值。

9 October 1911, a picture postcard sent from Washington, U.S.A. , franked with one 2-cents postage stamp in red color, which is cancelled by “WASHINGTON 9 OC 11” c.d.s. plus its corresponding long barred cancellation. Beneath it showed an arrival Harbin c.d.s. “ХАРБИНЪ / 19.12.11”.
This is the pre-revolutionary Russian spelling of Harbin, the city in Manchuria (northeastern China) that was under strong Russian influence in the early 20th century due to the Chinese Eastern Railway.

此為俄國革命前的舊俄文拼寫“ХАРБИНЪ”，即哈爾濱。當時的哈爾濱位於中國東北的滿洲地區，因中東鐵路的興建，受到俄國強烈影響，是早期俄羅斯勢力在中國東北的重要據點。
