1854-55 collection of over forty letters arranged in a custom-made
album with written up pages, the letters, some times with the
original envelope, some times with part of the front or just loose
addressed to his family give a very deep insight of the progress of
the war and of the daily life as well, letter 18 contains also a
fine seascape pen drawing. Mixed condition as expected, a wonderful
lot for student of the subject. (Estimate £500 - £700)
