1866/1934c.: The collection with 1866 Egypt 1 pi. claret with bold
strike of "Poste Vice-Reali Egiziane / Gedda" in black (21 June
1867), 1867 issue scarce usage of 20 pa. green with GEDDA cds, 1
pi. red (5) with same datestamp and a fine piece bearing 2 pi. deep
blue sharing Gedda cds, Bulâq issue with superb 2 pi. yellow
cancelled GEDDA cds in blue - in all 28 items - and a scarce group;
1867/70 GEDDA Interpostal seals in slate blue or blue (27) and
slate example with "GFDDA" variety (rare) and the rare GEDDA
Interpostal seal in red; Turkey 1876 Dulos issue 20 pa. lilac with
framed "GIDDE" seal, fine strike on Empire issue 20 pa. and 2 pi.,
1892 issue 2 pi. orange with fine strike in blue, thereafter with
1892 issue usages with DJEDDAH cds's in blue, 1897 5 pa. on 10 pa.
green block of four with complete DJEDDAH cds in blue (1897);
1905/14 adhesives with "DJIDDÉ" or DJEDDA circular datestamps, 1913
remarkable piece with five colour franking cancelled "DJEDDA / 2"

green & red unused (2) and used together with a usage on document,
and overprinted examples, 1912 1 pi. brown unused (3) and used (4),
1918 reddish purple & pale blue with extensive range, incl.
multiple and usages, Saudi Arabia Revenues incl. 1920 Railway /
Locomotive issue (25), Turkish Revenues and a range of Ottoamn
issues used in Saudi Arabia; together with "Revenue Stamps of the
Turkish Empire" by Emir Eray Sulleymanie, and "Ottoman Turkish
Empire Revenue Stamps of the Hejaz Railway" by Steve Jacques
(2018). An unusual lot.
