placed at upper right but not tied, reverse showing bold bilingual
Canton c.d.s. of 28 February 1917, large black “T” tax marking and
red circular PASSED BY CENSOR 2005 handstamp, front with New York
G.P.O. “DUE 10 CENTS” circular arrival marking, reverse with
vertical OPENED BY CENSOR tape applied over an earlier tape bearing
violet PASSED BY CENSOR 1436 handstamp, taxed upon arrival with
U.S. postage dues comprising 1c and three 3c adhesives tied by oval
New York cancels, very fine.
