Cherrystone - U.S. and Worldwide Stamps and Postal History
Our March 2026 Sale of United States and Worldwide Stamps and Postal History is taking place Tuesday and Wednesday, March 24-25 at our Teaneck galleries and via CherrystoneLIVE. There are 1,434 lots, presented in four sessions, with United States including rarities and graded items, European Countries, British Commonwealth, South and Central America, Asia, and Africa. There are further selections from Al Kugel's Postal History of the world, collection of European Colonies in Africa, with German Witu Protectorate offered on behalf of German Philatelic Society, Italian Area, Poland, Russia and others. As always, there are large lots and collections, ranging from single country albums, specialized collections, multi-carton worldwide properties, and Postal History lots.
Short Terms and Conditions
On all lots sold a commission of 15% on the hammer price is payable by the buyer. If the purchase price has not been paid within the time limit, nor lots taken up within seven days from date of sale they may be resold and any loss arising from such sale will be charged to the defaulter. Any account more than thirty days in arrears is subject to a late payment charge of 2% per month so long as the account remains in arrears. If the auctioneer, in his discretion, should institute any action to secure payment of a delinquent account the defaulting purchaser shall pay all expenses incurred by the auctioneer and such charges will be added to the amount owed.
