Purchasers from outside the EU will be reimbursed the VAT upon proof of export, which isn't needed if goods are shipped by the auctioneer. Purchasers from countries belonging to the EU are subject to the VAT unless providing their VAT identification number as a book- or art-dealer. Prints out of books: 23% buyer's premium and 7% VAT. - When bidding online live via an external platform the premium increases by the fees stated on that platform
