"via Pacific mail" 'India-Hong Kong-USA' (endorsed in m/s), all tied by "BAHRAIN AIR PESIAN GULF/6 OC 40" double-circle datestamp, with violet censor handstamps on front (large rectangular "PASSED BY CENSOR/BAHRAIN" and triangle "PASSED CENSOR HONG KONG 9"). Envelope slightly reduced at the right and central vert. fold otherwise fine. A scarce franking for the Pacific air route. (T)
