The Leipziger Münzhandlung und Auktion Heidrun Höhn e. K. is a family-owned business founded by the late numismatician Heidrun Höhn on July 1, 1990.
After the German reunification Heidrun Höhn, who had been a passionate numismatician since her childhood, took the opportunity to use her specialized knowledge and her contacts she made as head of numismatics of the national art institute of the GDR in Leipzig to found her own business.
On June 17 and 18, 1991 the first of many successful coin auctions took place. The auction comprised 2,578 lots at that time.
Ever since we have been conducting international floor auctions featuring around 4,000 lots each.
