Begins with a perforated proof set in issued colors and continues from there highlighted by six values on the Portuguese P.O. receipt with "SPECIMEN' overprints from the UPU and signed by Portuguese postal official "A.R. Costa", a lovely range of imperforate proofs including multiples featuring complete set of full imperforate sheets of 12 plus 40p, 60p misperf proof sheets. The collection concludes with five selected covers, including domestic registered mail, unusual cancels, and a censor handstamp, among others�a specialist's delight and ideal for expansion, fully imaged online.
