“Iz deistvuiushchei armii” (“On active service”) at top, St.
Petersburg green arrival c.d.s. (26 Aug), the message describing
onward travel via the steamer Innokentevskaya, the railway around
Lake Baikal and the Chinese Eastern Railway, and remarking on the
dramatic Siberian landscape compared with life in St. Petersburg, a
fine Russo-Japanese War period usag, fine-very fine.

(Oct) receiver, the reverse showing an English message offering
stamps in philatelic exchange, routed from the ROPiT Trebizond
agency by steamer to Odessa and onward to to Canada, a rare
destination, fresh and very fine.
