with ...di più 1919c.: Cover struck at upper right and upon reverse (over flap) with complete strikes of "MIN AL MUCHAYYAM AL MANSUR - 1331" triangular handstamps in bright rose-red ink (Provenance of the Camp of Al Mansur - 1915), addressed in arabic to Colonel Harold Fenton Jacob. Note: Colonel Harold Fenton Jacob (1886-1936) was the British Political Agent at Dthala (Aden) between 1904 and 1907, and then served as First Assistant Resident in Aden between 1910 and 1917. After the outbreak of the First World War he also acted as Chief Political Officer to the Aden Field Force. From 1917–1920 he was advisor on South Western Arabian Affairs reporting to the British High Commissioner in Egypt, after the War Jacob and his Mission set off from Aden to negotiate with the Imam at Sana'a; they were stopped at Bajil, and held virtual prisoners for more than three months by Shaikhs of the Quhra tribe of Tihamah.
